Hey there, I'm Casey!

As a human-centered developer, I aim to eliminate barriers often around technology for those who could benefit the most from it. Technology holds the potential to supplement people no matter their walk in life - including the small businesses, families, and local organizations that are the foundation of our communities.

Recently, I led a UX Engineering team at Evention, where I helped the company establish a product design practice. As a UX Engineer, I've had the pleasure and challenge of bridging the gap between design and development. My focus lately has been on building design systems, fostering engagement between designers and developers, and promoting the adoption of modern UI frameworks.

In the past, I took on various roles as a full-stack .NET developer while completing a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. The graduate program reinforced a core value I've held for most of my life - learn by helping others, especially your communities. As we rise up, we must reach down.

Outside of work, I spend my time and attention disconnected and immersed in nature - touching grass and chasing waterfalls. If you're interested in working together after reading all that, check out my résumé  , or feel free to reach out at [email protected]!
